This policy describes how SYN collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit synformula.com or buy from us. It applies to this site only.

What we collect

When you browse. Your device and browser type, operating system, IP address, time zone, the pages you view and how you arrived. We collect this through cookies, log files and similar technologies.

When you order. Your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number and the details of what you bought. Card details go straight to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

When you contact us or subscribe. Your email address, phone number if you give it, and whatever you write to us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the companies that make the business run, and only for that purpose:

Shopify, which powers our store and checkout. Our payment processors, which handle card details directly. Our fulfilment partner, which needs your address to send the box. Our email and SMS platform, which sends order updates and any marketing you opted into. Analytics and advertising providers, including Google and Meta, which help us understand traffic and measure ads.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Advertising and cookies

We use cookies and pixels to show ads to people who are likely to be interested in SYN, and to see which ads lead to orders. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance, and you can control cookies in your browser settings. Turning cookies off may stop parts of the site working properly.

Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will confirm your identity before acting on the request.

If you are in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and share, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. If you are in Europe or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, port and erase your data, and to object to how we process it. Your information is processed in the United States.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Email and SMS

We only send marketing to people who asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. For SMS, reply STOP to any message to stop them and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order confirmations, shipping updates or subscription renewal reminders, because those are part of the service you bought.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, including the 30-day refund window described in our refund policy. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.

Security

Checkout runs over an encrypted connection and card details are handled by our payment processor, not by us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Age

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date below shows when it last changed.
